By the help of Modbus Module, events in fire alarm systems such as fire alarm, fault alarm etc. can be sent to building management system via Modbus protocole. Then building management system can control other systems in the building according to the information taken from fire alarm system. For example, building management system can trigger emergency announce system for evacuation when fire alarm signal is sent from fire alarm system. Also building management system can send commands to fire alarm system like reset, silence alarm and silence buzzer.
